Nairobi Overview
Capital & Largest City of Kenya – Located in the south‑central highlands at about 1,680 m (5,500 ft) above sea level.
Population – Around 4.8 million in the city proper, and about 5.7 million in the metro area.
Name Origin – From the Maasai phrase Enkare Nyirobi, meaning “place of cool waters”. Unique Feature – The only capital city in the world with a national park inside its boundaries: Nairobi National Park, home to lions, giraffes, rhinos, and more.
Known as the “Green City in the Sun”, Nairobi is East Africa’s major financial, political, and cultural hub.Hosts the United Nations Office at Nairobi and the UN Environment Programme.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange is one of Africa’s largest, capable of 10 million trades a day.
Economy spans finance, manufacturing, tourism, and tech—earning it a spot in Africa’s “Silicon Savannah.”
DAY 4: 30TH MARCH: FREE DAY IN NAIROBI AND TRANSFER TO NAIVASHA.
You will have Land Cruisers at your disposal for the full day. Thereafter, we will take a 2 hours drive to Lake Naivasha, check in at the hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 5: 31ST MARCH: NAIVASHA (LONGONOT, CRESCENT ISLAND).
🌅 Sunrise at Lake Naivasha: Begin your day with the breathtaking sight of the sun rising over the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha — a magical moment to capture in photos and memory.
🍽 Breakfast at the Hotel
Enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel your day’s adventures.
⛰ Mount Longonot Hike
Drive to Mount Longonot National Park for a rewarding hike up the dormant volcano. Take in panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley and the crater’s lush interior.
🍴 Lunch & Refresh: Return to the hotel for a delicious lunch and some time to freshen up before the evening’s activities.
⛵ Lake Naivasha Boat Safari
Set sail on a relaxing boat ride across the picturesque lake.

• Spot diverse bird species, from kingfishers to cormorants.

• Watch hippo families wallowing in the shallows.

• Witness the dramatic sight of a Fish Eagle swooping down to snatch its catch.

DAY 6: 1 ST APRIL: NAIVASHA - MAASAI MARA.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out by 07:00 hrs.

🚗 Scenic Drive through the Great Rift Valley
Embark on a 5-hour journey to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

  • Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, with sweeping open plains and distant escarpments.

  • Pass through sparsely populated areas, where small settlements dot the roadside, offering glimpses of rural Kenyan life.

🏨 Arrival & Check-in
Reach your lodge or camp in time for lunch. After check-in, enjoy a freshly prepared meal and take a short rest.

🦁 Evening Game Drive
Head out into the Maasai Mara for an unforgettable evening game drive until dusk.

  • Search for the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless antelope species.

  • Witness the golden light of the African sunset casting a magical glow over the savannah.

🌙 Dinner & Overnight
Return to your lodge or camp for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 7: 2 ND APRIL: MAASAI MARA.

🦁 Full-Day Game Drive

• After breakfast at camp (or post-balloon breakfast), set out for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch in the wild.

• The Maasai Mara is the land of African legend:

• Lions are abundant throughout the reserve.

• Elephants, giraffes, zebras, and gazelle species roam freely.

• Cheetahs and leopards are regularly spotted, with rhinos seen less often.

• From July to September, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration — one of the world’s last great wildlife spectacles, with predators in thrilling pursuit.

🐦 Birdlife Highlights

• Spot several species of Bee-Eater, the “flying rainbow” of the Mara, along with countless other bird species.

🌍 Cultural Encounters

• Along the park’s borders, see members of the colorful Maasai tribe:

• Morans (warriors) striding across the plains.

• Young boys herding goats, offering a glimpse into traditional pastoral life.

🌙 Evening Return

• Return to camp at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

DAY 8: 3RD APRIL: MAASAI MARA – DIANI
We begin our final day on safari with an early breakfast, followed by check-out from the lodge at 6:30 AM. Our scenic drive back to Nairobi includes a lunch stopover before proceeding to the train station.

In the afternoon, we board the train for a 6-hour journey through Kenya’s diverse landscapes, bound for the country’s stunning coastline. We are scheduled to arrive at Mombasa Train Station at 8 PM, where our driver will be waiting to transfer us to Diani Beach.

Upon arrival, we will check into our charming beachfront resort, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay by the ocean.

DAY 9: 4TH APRIL: DIANI AND WASINI ISLAND MARINE ADVENTURE

After breakfast, we set off for a full‑day excursion to Wasini Island. Our journey begins with a ride aboard a traditional dhow or motorboat across the crystal‑clear waters of the Indian Ocean, where there’s a chance to spot playful dolphins dancing alongside our vessel.

Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a day of snorkeling in vibrant coral gardens, swimming along the island’s pristine shores, and soaking in the tranquil coastal atmosphere. A freshly prepared seafood lunch will be served on the island, offering a true taste of the region’s culinary delights.

As the sun sets, we return to the mainland and drive back to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, carrying with us memories of the island’s marine beauty and cultural charm.

DAY 10: 5TH APRIL: FREE DAY AT THE BEACH

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. Spend the morning relaxing on the soft, sandy shores, soaking up the sun and the gentle ocean breeze. For those who wish to explore, you may take a cab to the nearest curio market or shopping mall to browse local crafts and souvenirs, before returning to the resort for more relaxation. A variety of optional water activities are available along the beach (at an additional cost) for guests seeking adventure. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included. Overnight: At the Resort.

DAY 11: 6TH APRIL: Farewell to the Coast – Return to Nairobi & Departure

After breakfast at the resort, we will check out by 10 AM and enjoy a relaxed morning before our transfer to the train station. Our coastal train departs at 3 PM, offering a comfortable journey through Kenya’s scenic landscapes.
We are scheduled to arrive in Nairobi by 8PM, where our driver will meet us at the station for a direct transfer to the airport, ready for check‑in for your international flight home.

Payment Schedule And Cancellation
First deposit
of $300 is due now to reserve your spot.
Second payment is $1000 more before December 12th, 2025.
Third payment 50% of the remaining balance due before January 15th, 2026.
Final payment of 100% of the remaining balance due before February 15th, 2026.
A single-room supplement is $750 additional and is mandatory for the participant who does not have a roommate.

Refund if canceled before November 1st, 2025, no refund nor transfer after November 1st, 2025.
To avoid late fees and cancellations, please make payments as scheduled. Payment ahead of schedule is accepted. A $150 per person late fee will be automatically added to late payments.
